RVnexuS: easy peasy!

RVnexuS makes stainless steel fasteners easy to assemble. With RVnexuS on nuts and lock-nuts you can prevent cold welding during tightening. The term cold weld, also known as galling, is created with stainless steel threaded connections. With RVnexuS your fasteners are protected against cold welding and the assembly times are greatly reduced. Moreover, after years of service, the fastener is still easy to disassemble. Which has made the use of lubricants redundant.

Cold welding

The phenomenon of galling (cold weld) is created with stainless steel threaded connections. Cold welding is a form of wear caused by friction between two sliding surfaces. Especially when these joints are assembled in a machine, a high degree of friction occurs, causing bolt and nut to fuse together (this can also occur when manually tightening).

The fasteners are completely unusable when cold welding occurs.

Other disadvantages are:

• Longer installation time
• More costs due to lubricants
• Unusable after using degreasers

With RVnexuS your fasteners are protected against cold welding and assembly times are greatly reduced. After years of being fastened, the nut can still be disassembled! RVNEXUS comes in Silver grey but can also be supplied in transparent on request. This way you can keep a real "stainless steel look" appearance. By applying one layer of RVnexuS to the nuts and lock-nuts you can prevent jamming of nuts and proceed to effortless assembly.
